Telos crashed fix…on to Dantooine

It was a mod…now you just update it and you’re fine

This illustrates whey I do my gaming on handhelds and consoles

A very nice experience until… The game keeps crashing after the cinematic leaving Telos. No bug fix with an automatic update. I tried the suggested solution, but it does not work for me. I am happy for those that the solution works for. I know this crashing is about par for the course for PC gaming. I think I will stick to handhelds and consoles for my gaming for the foresable future.

Glad to see it on OSX

I’ve been meaning to get around to re-playing this game. When it was put on mac, I had no more excuse. The restored content mod is also helpful, though the story is still confusing at times. I think the developers for this game had a lot of great ideas, but failed to find a cohesive thread. The game feels like a string of connected side quests. The characters are (mostly) awesome, but there just isn’t that cohesiveness you get in the first. Still worth a play for any star wars fan.

Cheat codes do not work on the Apple Store Download

I have tried and tried to make the cheat codes available for the download from the Apple store. It does not work. Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions?

Classic

Ahead of its time. It’ll hold up against any game of its kind even after 10 years. Amazing.

Not as good as KOTOR 1

The game worked fine for me from the Appstore, but the game itself felt like a step down from the first one, instead of a step up. Nevertheless, it’s still a good game for someone with time to kill.

Just finished it

First one is better. Not to say this one isn’t awesome. It took me way longer to finish it than the first for some reason. Totally worth it.

The game isn’t starting

When I saw that this game had finally made it to the App Store, I was so excited that I’d be able to reconnect with a peice of my childhood. After downloading the game, however, I cannot seem to get it to start. A small screen pops up with a play button, but after that nothing happens. I even tried registering with Aspyr and still nothing happens. So now I’m left with a dud of an app, and a feeling that I just got ripped off.

Great Game That Doesn’t Work

I was super excited to play this game again after 10 years. However, similar to other people in the comments, as soon as I leave the citadel station to go to the restoration site on Telos, the game freezes every time. I’ve tried everything I can think of to get it to work and there is nothing wrong with my macbook (and from other comments, this is a common problem in the same spot for everyone). Don’t buy this game until they fix the bugs...

Cheat console

Is it possible to acess the cheat console for Kotor 2 like you where able to in kotor 1. Thinking of making a copy of the .ini file and adding the "EnableCheats=1”to it, but wondered if this had been attempted with any sucess.

and then i tried to go to telos…..

Played this game along time ago….on a console far far away. Downloaded the mod from game agent to keep it from crashing. Opened the Mod and installed it (I think). Game still crashes. Can anyone give me a step by step on how to keep my game from crashing??

Interesting story except for the ending

The game is a series of mysteries to unravel. You play a character whose history you only gradually discover over the course of the whole game. You start out in an abandoned mining facility: what happened to everyone? Who is this mysterious old woman helping you re-establish your connection to the Force? How/why did you lose your connection to the Force? Why are people chasing you? Can you trust the various people who offer to help you? Does the Jedi Council always act wisely? Do good actions lead to good outcomes? These mysteries and questions were enough to keep me playing the game. (The graphics and gameplay are pretty dated; if you’re impressed by them, you should check out some of the games they’ve made more recently!) Unfortunately, not every question is answered, and some of the answers are less than satisfying, especially the most important question: What were the motivations of the main antagonist? I’m still not clear on that. There are several things about this game that feel as if they were rushed through development and not thought through. The antagonist’s motivation, for one. There are a number of subplots involving intrigue among your companions, but they don’t seem to go anywhere. And they didn’t even bother to name one of your companions (“Disciple”?).

Bugs weren’t exactly fixed.

Played the game before and I love this game, but I know there is supposed to be a cutscene before going in somewhere (Not throwing out spoilers) and it’s not showing up at all. Even with the new update.

Immediately Crashes

I just updated my OS and the game and now it crashes on launch. :( Was hoping to make some progress today. Please fix it! I don’t know if it was the OS or the game update that did it, though, since the App Store updated both at the same time.

Great game, perfect port

Part one: the game itself This game was released unfinished. Just another thing we have to thank Lucas for, as he would come into the project and make them scrap whatever they had to chase another of his ideas. For that reason I recommend going to “Gameagent” and downloading the “Restored Content Mod” for this game. It was a very easy process and I had no problems applying this Mod to the Mac App Store version of this game. Storywise, this game has nothing on it’s predecessor. But overall this game is a bit darker, more emotional, and has better characters. Your leading “mentor” in the game is one of my favorite SW characters of all time, with awesome quotes and an outlook on life, and the force, that no other SW character has ever had. I was also more emotionally invested in your character that you play, The Exile. There was another neat feature in this game, the ability to use a workbench to breakdown items into components and use those components to create other items. With the selection they give you, you can easily make a double bladed sword more powerful than any lightsaber in Kotor 1, and make your lightsaber a beast in of itself. If you don’t get the restored content mod, you will be very disappointed in the unresolved ending. As for the port to Mac, it was perfect. Visually, it looked just like my past experience on the Xbox, without a single bug or lag. Though this game wasn’t as legendary as Kotor 1, I highly recommend both games. They are quite different, though the mechanics and graphics are nearly identical. I don’t know which game I like better, but I must admit, as I look back on these two games, I think more fondly of this one, and the characters, quotes, and experiences it gave.

Illegal Version

Love the game but can’t play just says this is an illegal copy then crashes… I bought it on the app store!

an interesting turn

I have enjoyed the game so far, but an interesting occurance took place. When converting others to the dark side, even after you are successful, they will lecture you about how you scare them or how you should repent. even though they are sith.

This game is awesome!

I love Star Wars, so i completely adore KOTOR 1 and 2. There were no glitches on my game so I have nothing bad to say. I recommend this game to anyone who loves Star Wars.

I WANT REFUND!!!!

This game which i bought in app store does not even open!!!!! This thing keep saying that it is broken app and illegal. How can this even possible?? I really want refund!! One star isn’t enough for this app.

Will not even open

I played it for about a half hour when I first purchased it. I saved my progress and then when I re-opened it another time, it won’t even open. I have since tried to reopen it on several occasions and it will never open. The app is useless now.
